How to Get Through Your Work Day At A Job That Is NOT Fulfilling
Have you ever read the book “Who Moved My Cheese”? It talks about these mice in a maze and how one day all of the cheese in the maze is gone and each mouse actually handles the cheese going away very differently. The is very similar to what some of the women that I work with feel on a daily basis. They feel trapped and stuck in their corporate jobs. They get up every day and head back to the same spot in the maze where the cheese has vanished (their unfulfilling job) and they're scared to explore the rest of the maze (or other possible career options). Every day going back to the same place where there's no fulfilling work is frustrating. Instead, take your energy to make forward momentum, to figure out where new opportunities are and where you will be happier in the long run. You'll feel a lot better and have a lot more energy.
